    Interesting Alan. Never seen any exactly like that before, although the principle is the same as with the 303/22 (or is it 22/303?) 'conveyors' used on some of the earlier SMLE trainers. The idea is still alive & kicking as someone recently showed me some new made examples chambered for .32" ACP (I think they were made in the US).
