1943 Springfield M1 Garand

Hello,

This 1943 Springfield Garand icon

came out of a small shop in Eastern Canada icon

.

This is the only Garand in my WWII collection and I've been pretty happy with it since picking it up.

I don't believe it's ever been messed with, but has no provenance or story of how it got here.

I did photograph and research the internals several years ago, from what I recall it all appeared original including un-cut op rod. I will see if I can find those photos.

I have never fired the rifle. I was searching at the time for a nice M1 icon

Garand for my Marine Corps collection of firearms.

That's an honest, original rifle. I have one exactly like it sn. 1962792 / 9-43 barrel date. Enjoy!!
