    Ishapore I.D. plate

    On an Indian .410 shotgun. Any ideas on what it might mean? I'm guessing at least one of those P's are Police or Prison.

    I have seen these plates on No4s, SMLEs & P14s, This one is on a P14.

    Not sure of their origin, some one mentioned they were Dutch but I have no evidence of this:
