Rumours abound re continuing manufacture of Ishapore No1s.

Whats the latest dates known ? (proven date - not guesstimates, or my mates mother saw one a while ago)

I was thinking about this very subject just yesterday too.

Is it time for a list?? A survey of Ishapore No. 1 MkIII/III*/3/3* dates and serial numbers? That would give us a sub-list of the latest dates. No 2A/2A1's, thank you very much.

For instance, I have

an undated Mk III* with a '40 FR date and
a 1954 Mk 3 with Iraqi markings.

Certainly not the 'newest' but .....

Latest dates known on Ishapore 303s is 1988. On Ishapore 308s is 1972. Yes, 303s were made later than 308s.
