You know when you consider the duplex drive Sherman's inflating that skirt then paddling off into the maelstrom without being able to shoot back (the skirts were blown off once they got onto their tracks inshore) man they are up there with the chaps carrying the flame throwers sadly I had read that in some instances they were dropped to far out and sank taking their brave crews with them to Mr Davey Jones locker.
