Now I understand why one would carry his Carbine for a trunk gun in LEO...in Cali...

My dad carried an Inland M1 Carbine on Iwo Jima in WW2. It served him VERY well. His brothers, who were Marines in the PTO, also carried carbines. They served them well, too. I guess it is a family tradition....
