    I see the barrel & action have commercial proofs (can't read the lock markings), so not a military-issue rifle at any point in its life.....so it doesn't have to fit into any particular pattern. Appears to have three groove rifling, whereas most military carbines & short rifles has five groove (1:48"), as opposed to the 3-band's three groove 1:78". Looks like a nice handy little fella, did you get the stock repaired?
