If you were in an Armourers shop anywhere in the known world, the next Mk1 fore-end on the shelf would be the correct one for any Mk1 rifle. They were designed and made that way! And if it wasn't the right one, say, it didn't have the cut-out for the catch, head, breech bolt, yhen you'd just cut it in.

That at least is where the bidding stopped. A very limited supply, but also a limited market.
That price should flush a few out of the parts bins though.

Both appear to have full length stocks in that photo. Don't remember seeing it here.
