    Old Win98 computer,

I have 1 usb port(for printer or anything),got a read only disk drive and a plug in external floppy drive,it's a 6GB lap top so I just bought a 8GB flash drive off Ebay, figured to copy whole hard drive(like was said) before I try anything, now for another question,as an example,I use Kodak software for camera,so what if Kodak software is win98 only and Vista won't recognize it?,do I need to go to Kodak site and download a Vista compatible version of Kodak software to load pics into?have several hundred pics to transfer. This is a whole new experince for me,I'm not into this hi-tech stuff so I learn as I go.

Forget the Kodak software for your pictures. Windos will open the photos and it will be better than the Kodak program. As long as the pictures on the old puter are JPG you are set to go.
