I have only seen 4 ex Police L96's, including one a couple of weeks ago, and they all have the standard UKicon Military graticle Marty. Thinking on my feet, I would say that by definition, an L96 - ANY L96 would have the telescope specified for the L96 as a matched, as-issued 'equipment'

I suppose the Police could have specified a different grat pattern on the basis that they knew the art of sniping best.
