If I understand this correctly, near the end of WWII or rather I guess it was at the end of 1945 the Long Branch Plant became something else, or rather it was under new management if that is an appropriate phrase. I believe it had been a Crown Corp from 1940 until 1945. My question is this: After 31 December 1945 did the name change? I see the mark with the A inside the C. Is that Canadian Arsenal? Did that replace the LB Stamp? Or does the A inside the C simply denote Canadareplacing the broad arrow inside the C? I’m asking this because I see various components with one mark, then the same component with the other so I wondered if anything with the A inside the C was post war. Albeit post war, would a part with the A inside the C still have been made at the Long Branch plant or could it have been made at some other plant in Canada? (maybe only one plant in Canada) The title for this post should have been talking in circles.
