    1929 Springfield 10-29

This one was modified in the late 30's. It has a Lyman 48S and a C stock installed for a rifle team I suspect. It gauges under one at the muzzle and has a correct bolt code, J5. The bolt is not marked NS, however, I believe all J5 bolts were Nickle Steel. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but the weather warms up this weekend. This is a beautiful piece well taken care of by a thoughtful owner. It looks shiny because I just rubbed in a coat of Raw linseed oilicon!
