I think the last people I would approach are the authorities until I found out the ramifications of this. It's all great to say call the BATFE and then have some idiot that doesn't know the law but thinks he does screw everything up. They don't know it all. You get the right guy and you'd be fine but do you want to risk it. You could be out the gun, the money and wind up in trouble with the law. I'd probably call the NRA and get legal advice from them before going further.
