There's a fellow on that auction site that sells rubber butt pads for Lee Enfields. They fit against the butt plate and use the usual screws.

Everytime you change a gun, it becomes less original. Try BAALs suggestion first. They are only 19.95, and you could use the same pad on other Enfields.
