Funeral in Suffolk, was in The Suffolk Regt, presumably lived in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. I'd suggest a good place to start is at the old RHQ of The Suffolk Regt! From a quick browse through Tom Davies's 'Britainicon and the Thompson gun' given the vast amount of info available at The National Archive, I'd say that's the place for someone with a LOT of time on his hands to start.

But, as they say in researchers circles....... You become a poor researcher by starting off as a rich one! Because nobody pays you!
