M1 Carbine Leather Scabbard Finds Me

Very nice and not often seen in that condition, as stated. Last leather item I saw like that was an M1916 holster...common manufacturer, WW2. Those just don't surface much. Wonder how the other guy came to have it?

His son worked for the town transfer station back in the 1980's, and he picked it out of the hopper. No kidding.
