    Yup, just take it easy and give it time. Age has more to do with it than actual injury.

    x2. Now approaching the back side of 55 and still physically strong just need more breaks and longer recuperation time I find. No need to kill yourself and nothing to prove.
    My doctor told me that we have long passed the time when people did "back breaking" labour as a daily thing but he sees far more back injuries these days.
    A direct result of bodies being unaccustomed to the strain and rebelling when pushed.

    I really enjoyed Herb McBride's old book on WW1 sniping. He was actually the father of modern sniper doctrine. An American who enlisted in the Canadianicon Army and fought with our boys until the U.S. entered the war. He then transferred to the American army but rocked the boat so much he was quietly pushed out. A guy who had actually "been there and done that" and knew what he was talking about except no one wanted to listen.
