Need help with locating/repairing broken MkII Firing Pin
Hi,
Well, I finally found the time to use the bolt disassembly instructions several members were kind enough to attach to my earlier post, and pulled my rifle's bolt apart. Not too difficult, if you have good instructions! But upon reassembly, I thought I wan't getting the firing pin in far enough, as I could not get the tip to show through the bolt face. On closer examination, I discovered that the tip is clearly broken off!
An internet search turned up nothing. And an earlier post on this forum indicates that the MKIII pin offered by Numrich won't fit the MKII. So, does anyone know of a possible supplier for this part? I have the pin-type firing pin. And if not, any recommendations on a gunsmith with Ross expertise that might be able to fashion a new tip?
Thanks for your help.
Mike

Where are you located Mike? I'm pretty sure I have a few. PM me, I don't check back here very often.

Where are you located? I have a number of spare bolts and bits and could set you up with one.

Hi,
Just bumping this up to see if anyone manged to locate a firing pin in their "stash"? I have sent out some very late PMs, but haven't heard back. If anyone can point me to a correct Firing Pin, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mike
