    I agree with Jim completely. I've seen a lot of de-milled ordinance and usually they leave it so that you can tell it's safe from a quick visual inspection. All of the inert grenades I've ever seen had the bottom cut off leaving a circular hole. If you unscrew the top they'll have a burnt fuse.
