Great pictures as always but I'm curious about the weapon held by the soldier in the left foreground. No front sight but hard to see if there is a scope on the weapon. It's either a M1903a4 or a shotgun imo but would like to hear other opinions

That cammo pattern looked an awful lot like the German
version. I think it resulted in more than a few incidents of "Friendly Fire."

There is a pic floating around of a German
sniper being captured by a Brit sniper team and in the one marching him out you can hardly make out his left leg against the brick work such is the blend between the two. I have tried to copy the pic from the web to post but it wont copy have you seen this pic Mark.
