    Appears to be a Type T to me. Stock might have been shortened a bit.

    If the serial number is 1417414, it is listed in SRS records twice:

    1417417 07/20/32 Manufactured
    1417417 05/04/39 Inquiry from OO

    Yes it is 1417414....but you show 1417417....

    Ok that's what I found that the closest serial number was indeed 1417417....

    But you think it is a style T and since it wasn't sold by the DCM, what are the other possibilities? Do you have an idea what the rifle would be worth?

    Kind of strange this gun sold at Rock Island in Feb of this year. Rock islands appraisal is very sparce but did rate the rifle @ 80 pct original. Do you think they could have missed the stock cut down?
