    Not missing any rear sight then. If you own a 1903a3 just pull the upper wood off and look down into the Inletting of the stock and post what you see. There is no Inletting involved by removing a 1903 rifle from the original stock and dropping it into a 1903a3 stock then installing the 1903 handguard. You can't do the same to a 1903a3 into a 1903 stock without cutting it for a handguard ring.
