My predilection for HD include simply wearing my CCW around the house, namely a double-action .38 revolver. My situation is residing in a very, very small and near century-old house. I have a Remington 870 12-gauge with No.4 buck nearby because I am an eye-glass wearer and I might lose them in an emergency.

My wife loves the M1icon carbine, and she finds it very easy to use. I recently installed a red-dot sight on a rail mounted in place of the upper handguard, and stocked the 15 round magazines with the Hornady Critical Defense cartridges. Like you say, it is a very formidable HD set up. Not too long ago, I decided to get another carbine of my own!
