Help! Misaligned Pads on No 4.

My apologies, misaligned probably not the best term to use to describe the problem. Basically the pads have been fitted as they are without any filing/modification to bring the bracket/scope in line with the bore of the rifle. The front pad could probably still be adjusted to bring it in line for windage but the rear pad has been fitted too high.
Hope that explains things a bit better. I'll post some photos.

JR,
This may not be as bad as you think. I am assuming your Tiffy had drawings he used to drill and tap the holes at the outset to the recognised exceptance locations for the scope, and got them slightly wrong?

If not, did he do this all by eye, and a measuring tape............hope not!!
