i have a .50 cal ammo can full of new 17 and 03 springs.
when i first got them, they were in a wooden box,
    marked,
magazine spring rifle. cal. 30 nothing more.
the top of the spring should have a step so it will fit in the follower, the bottom should be straight to fit the floorplate.

    1917 Eddystone

I need to get in touch with chuckindenver concerning work I need done on my Sporterized 1917 Eddystone. He was recommended by several people. I believe the headspace needs to be reset, and a few parts a missing that blew off the rifle when a cartridge vented. The receiver and barrel were tested for hardness and magnafluxed (no cracks) Thanks, Jim
