    Hi:

Do you have any information L42A1 serial no. AU1680? This is a D71 production rifle with matching base, telescopic sight (serial no. 25836), scope can and transit case. I have owned the rifle for about 10 years. Any information would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Tom Jackson

    Tom,

Rifle serial number AU1680 was part of batch number 52, consisting of 14 weapons and has a recorded conversion date of 16th Feb 1972. On completion it was sent to store at Donnington.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Information required

Hi, this site looks promising.... I've just purchased a Parker-Hale T4 in 7.62mm from the members stall of my local Gun club in order to fill an FAC line entry and would like to know if it is an Enforcer, L39A1 or Envoy model.
The normal model numbers have been ground off from the left side of the receiver, but the bolt still has an arrow on it (ser '336') and the frame butt strap stamped with '339'.
It has been fitted with an ARMALON scope rail and the foresight is missing. Came with a 1965 issue 7.62 magazine, similar to a 303 but with different lips, ramp and follower.
Reminds me of my old Air Cadet days with the 303
    Any info would be appreciated
