I owe an explanation about my "brand snobs and PSA haters."The Calguns forum (where I originally posted this) is FULL of brand snobs and PSA haters. I have to laugh, though, I have done 4 PSA builds through the last couple years, and everyone was 100% reliable and would do 1 MOA with MK262 MOD1 77 grainers. Yet, I am always ready about people having issues with their high dollar builds! Those are the same people who say PSA is junk, and only Daniel Defense is worthy! My sub-$450 build will kill zombies just as dead as their $2500 builds.

I understand, even though I have no idea what a PSA rifle is like. I have extensively shot AR15's from $500 Norinco's to $2000 CF Issue Diemacos, and my own rifle is a Bushmaster, and when used properly with care and attention to the basics, all have functioned very well, if not perfect in a sense of the word. I believe there is a lot of brand marketing in the AR15 market, and in essence everyone is trying to "build a better mousetrap" to stand out in the crowd. So long as the parts are built within spec, and durable, to me they are all just a series of different roll marks down the magazine housing.

Simple rifles are always best, and accessories never a substitute for skill.

There are a lot of rifle designs I would never wager my life on, but on the AR15, I have, and it's brought me home safe.

This rifle you've built, despite the regional legal restrictions looks like a reliable, streamlined, and useful firearm.

My only personal improvement would be the addition of a left side/ambi safety lever to allow fast use of the FCS with the "artillery hold" mandated by the California grip, without having to disengage the trigger hand from the grip, unless of course you are left handed, in which case you are set as is. But judging from the orientation of your pistol holster I gather you are indeed a right handed shooter.

I have an ambi safety on order. The Colt LPK I had in my stuff. As for different companies, PSA uses Aluminum forgings from Cerro Forging and Brass Aluminum Forging. Their barrels are made by FN and Wilson, and their bolt's in the BCG are Carpenter 158 steel, and the gas key is a forging, rather than a casting. I have been shooting the AR15 platform since `1974, and building it (probably several hundred through the years) since 1989, when I was an FFL and built and sold them. There is nothing wrong with PSA (or even PTAC's) stuff. I went with the Melonite, instead of chrome lined this time, as I have read quite a bit about Melonite superior to chrome, as it is an integral modification of the surface of the metal, not just added on like chrome.
