Not sure of your sources, but Remington sales still thinks they make it in the core-lokt line.

It is not the ammo they are discontinuing but the selling of empty brass cases. About a month and a half ago I got an email from Midway saying the Remington Krag brass went from "Out of Stock" to "Discontinued"

On a side note I emailed Starline, Hornady, and Jamison/Captech about the possibility of making 30/40 brass. Hornady said they do not have plans but will pass the message along. Starline and Jamison have not responded to the emails I have sent them.
