    The barrel was installed post-military and is a later M1903A3. The military used M1903 barrels for M1903s. The stock is a replacement. FK = Frank Krack, who was the chief of small arms inspection at Rock Island from 1941 to early 1946.

    I would say they did a darn good job putting a 1903 front and rear sight on an A3 barrel.
