So when did they stop making ball ammo for the 303 in the world!

They haven't. It's still available from Yugo isn't it...? Or is that all SP now?

I still get PPU, 174 grain FMJ thru local gun shop. Shoots ok for what we use it for. Usually get a carton of 500 to make it worthwhile for the shop: if this helps.

Indians-Pakis still make it. You just don't see it sold anywhere else in the world. For use buy their military.

Is that 174gn stuff flat-based or boat-tailed?

I have been trying to find the FB Mk7"Z" stuff for a while, without luck, here in Queensland.

The folk at Barnaul in Russia make a FB, .312, 174gn (ish) bullet, but that seems to be a mystery here as well.
