    The No9 site is actually AG Parker; so fit's in quite nicely with the rifle that's 1929. I paid 50 pounds for the sight plate. I believe it is also marked Parker, but I'll have to confirm that.
    I had started making one from scratch when this one turned up! so I was lucky.
    Alot of these sights and bit's are locked up in collections these days; it's so much nicer to get them back on a rifle!

    True, but generally usually referred to in the UKicon as a BSA No.9.

    The folding SMLE sight that is referred to as an A J Parker is the Parker Plus 5. Of all the folding sights this is regarded
    as the best because of the heavier meaty feel to it which is lacking in the other early folding sights.
