Rockola was known for its woodworking previous to making carbines
Early juke boxes were ornate wood.

I found a mint second block Underwood out by you a few years ago. It never had a serial number stamped on it. I wonder what ever became of that one

Rockola made stocks and sent them to IP very early { WB1 }. A few years back I bought a RMC sling well marked I cut H/W stock, but no sign of a car touche. I wanted to use it for a early Rockola action I had so I stripped the stock multiple times with Frombys furniture re finisher and a soft tooth brush but still nothing on the car touche. I gave up and gave it 4 coats of RLO and put the Rockola Action in it and put in my safe for storage. Close to 4 months later I got it out and there it was a faint boxed S'G' and CC. I still have it and it now holds my earliest IP. Your stock just may have been shipped to IP and then later accepted by S'G' people , we will never know for sure.
Man you got a hell of a deal !!! Want to double your monies ??? LOL Best Chris

I remember seeing those as a kid too. I didn't know they made stocks themselves.

The guy I'm getting it from is tripling his money, he didn't know what he bought and posted it in my carbine trading group on Facebook looking for Info on it. That's how I got it. I stole it from a theif ! Hahaha
