LB's........interesting to find in one collection like that, which drew my attention. Depends on who turns up on the day, but some have gone really cheaply in the past.

Also depends if there real or not...... I've seen a lot of German "snipers" go through Scotarms and there not quite what they seem to be. I was planning on going to look at the Nagant Snipers... but will just put a few postal bids on a few items I've seen.

Don't get too excited about them.
I can guarantee that 2 of the 3 are not correct, and the third is extremely "iffy" just based on the stated serial numbers.
Just remember that 16L Cannot be dated 1944 unless it's been renumbered.

Probably right.......its always too good to be true somewhere down the line at these auctions. "Buyers beware then on that basis"

The problem with some auctions it can be a dumping ground for items that the dealer can't shift in the shop or such as Guntrader or Gunstar, there are all kinds of other reasons also, sometimes a big collection from an estate will go through, or parts are required or need major repairs etc. I've done very well on a few occasions on others I've returned with a few lemons......... you really need to go and preview the items your interested in.
Its not the easiest of places to get to and you need to take your fuel, entrance and the one everyone forgets is the buyers premium and vat...........into account.

A couple days ago there were 2 T's on CGN, a matching at 5 grand which IMO was a steal and a non matching (repro. cheek piece and can't remember what else) but cheap at 4 grand. Both are gone, first one sold the second one a deal is pending on a trade. Both were BSA and not often you find any that are this good at that price(s).
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
