Vintage scope question

Perhaps there IS no elevation to it, it would be in the original mount instead? That sounds strange though. I know there are mounts available from Redfield for the 700 Rem that give you lateral movement because Leupold optics don't have much lateral...? As Peter says...hard to "See" from here...
