Dave,
Rifle 16583 was part of batch number 58 consisting of 4 weapons and has a recorded completion date of 16th Jan 1973. Out to stores at Donnington.

I've got a 30L0027 in the records. Part of batch number 49 consisting of 39 Weapons and a completion date of 19th Jan 1972, sent to store at Donnington.

The rifle recorded on the conversion list as 30L0027 is actually serial numbered 50L0027.
The transit box is owned by a member here complete with the printed data label to 50L0027.

It sold today for $6,750.00 plus 17.5 percent consignment fee. I gave it my best shot. Would have been nice to have consecutive sniper rifles.
