    Are you SURE about that Vincent. In theory and mechanically that shouldn't/cant(?) be because even with modified 20 rounds the internal configuration it STILL means that the 20 rounds press the platform and spring the same distance as a normal magazine. That means that it has to extend the same distance as a normal spring to feed the last round. The platform is recessed to reduce side friction and the recess clears the brass rubbing strips. Or am I missing something.

    Lee Enfield, thread 4....... does this have any bearing on the manufacturer? Or just an observation?

    Just out of interest Vince, I put a £5 on a horse named Vincente on todays Grand National. Guess what? Yep......... I'm £5 poorer! It fell at the first fence. Mind you, it did take my wife's horse with it when it did.
