    Another explosion was the 1926 explosions of several million pounds of explosives at the US Navy's Lake Denmarkicon Powder Depot. At the time the Lake Denmark facility was attached to the US Army Picatinny Arsenal. They are still finding wrecked M1903s from the explosions in the hills and woods surrounding the base. Several of which are in the post museum.
