There you go Delboy .......... Roger Knows a thing or two about them, so a big saving for you. The bonus is you asked............ some buy then convince themselves they have the real deal......... There are real T's out there you just need to keep looking, or ask the right people.......

I've just found it from the info you provided. As Big Duke says, more photo's of the rifle would be nice, though I suspect in this case would only serve to help us pull the thing to pieces more readily! Even from the views shown the rifle is almost certainly a fake; the receiver side wall T is wrong, you rarely if ever see original 4T's with the FTR details electrpencilled onto the body wall in the way one does with bog standard No4's; the 'S' on the cut-off boss looks like it was put there last week; the bracket is a modern Pacific Rim repro.................but the good news is that the scope is real!
Hope this helps you make up your mind a little........
Roger going to look at gun this morning not sure now if I will buy now it's been a real put off but could have saved me some money

I agree with the sentiments portrayed here the serif of the T is wrong, the s as stated looks like yesterdays stamping, the TR on the wrist has been double stamped but even that looks the wrong serif I think you heed the advice given and save your pennies for a real T.
This one is another wallet emptier and for a de-activated WWI sniper no way I would pay that and whoever does needs to see Sigmund Freud.
