    A fix would be to fit a little bushing, like that in the Ruger Mini-14.

    Charlton trigger mechanism is clever - there is a little plunger which is pushed down by the locking lug as the lug finishes rotating to the locked position. There needs to be a relationship between the locking and trigger mechanisms in a locked breech automatic firearm.
