There is no 12th Kokura . So if you do have a Kokura the sight may not fit a Nagoya . They can be not an "interchangeable part ' . I think the notch you are talking about is the spring . Your best bet is to use the whole sight slider on your sight .

How do I do that? Theres a pin/screw on the top left of the ladder that's preventing the slider from coming out. How do I remove that? I tried to unscrew it but didnt want to budge. Do I have to apply heat to it?

Really? The receiver has a kanji for 12 and a Kokura stamp. Maybe im reading it wrong.
