Thanks guys, for the very helpful comments, I hadn't noticed the reserved marker as I hit the page with the full advertisement and photographs and not the rifle listing page, silly me!

This T would have suited me nicely, as I'm not too concerned about having the chest, as long as the T is a good example with matching scope. A '43 was probably the one my dad used as his sniper course didn't finish until mid November '43, but I suppose it could have been a '44, if he wasn't issued one until later.
