    Personally, I wouldn't want one for anything, just a personal thing. I carried a rifle for years and all the trapping of the issue weapons and the Rising is just another mistake that came to flesh... They might work well enough in civilian life...still a classic for the collection, would be something else...anything almost. Yes, a Thompson M1icon can be expensive but you won't wear it out on civilian ranges...

    I never really cared for the ergonomics of them. Granted, I was shooting the semi auto versions and really trying to get down on the sights. Maybe I should give it another chance. I’ll find a range here that I can rent one at.
