The problem with this sort of thing on a bayonet (and they look so badly made that my son could do better with his junior wood work set) is that without any documentation or confirmation from official sources, that they go into folklore as 'ex Afghgan Army' or ' Kurdistan Home Defence Force issue.....'. You know the sort of thing. I'm a pragmatic realist and just accept that someone has made them up, badly from something he's had around for ages after failing several times trying with wood.
If there was anything real or official, the REAL bayonet experts who frequent this site would be on like a shot. Where are you when we need you Aragorn, Marysdad and porterkids?Information
