If the jambing DOES occur with blank, then it is a HEAT issue OR heat is a secondary issue. Secondly, because blank does not produce recoil* it cannot contribute towards the notion of the BB being jambed or lifted up hared against the underside of the BBC.

* to correct a myth. Blanks do produce a recoil but in discussions relating to weapons, it is so small as to be academic.
A couple of questions Peter, is the pressure generated by a blank (with BFA fitted) equivalent to the pressure drop when a live round leaves the barrel and the rifle unlocks?
Second, the Anglo custom rifle (David TS) has a heavily modified BB fitted and the BBC has has various adjustments too... I wonder if that will have further effects on function??
