New Additions to the collection
Pretty happy with these new additions..
C No. 7 1946 in the chest. I don't think it's been out of the chest much in the past 70yrs.
MkI*** Enfield 1907 CR Prefix . all matching. Very nice condition.
BSA MkIII 1914 in great condition and all matching.

Some very handsome rifles there!

Interesting bayonet too, first issued to the 1st Battalion The Leicestershire Regiment, then to the 5th (reserve Battalion) Rifle Brigade.

I have a similar 1946 LB that has been with it's chest for the past 70 years (or more). It was put in long term preservation back in 1948, and remains in it's grease and paper wrap. It's kind of a curse mind you....a beautiful rifle that's too nice to ever shoot. Same factory tag still with it too.
Good score....the fate of the remaining Cno7s in Cdn service is pretty much sealed that they are almost all going to be drill purpose rifles, so there will be no future release of new rifles.
