Thanks rick. Made money on that then. But Not in it for the money. Love the gun and the possibilities of where it may or may not have been.

So the cartouche on the bottom of the pistol grip. SA acceptance? Made by another Manufacture and then accepted by SA? Or made in SA and Accepted to go to production?

Good question. I didn't know SA used any contract stocks during WW2. Looking forward to an answer from someone.

The ordnance wheel on the bottom of the pistol grip signifies a stock accepted by SA made by someone other than SA.
