Funny. Without the upper superstructure and with the large bogeys it deoesn't look like a Hetzer. Notice the Panzer III chassis and the main gun mounted way forward. It looks like they've taken steps to reduce the amount of metal in the drive bogey as well. It looks like some strange variant of Sturmgeschütz but I can put my finger on it.

Think your right Bob here is a Hetzer, plus the other one is missing the return rollers on top hence the slack in the track.

Yes, it is the JPz IV. I believe the return rollers and other damage came from it burning after being hit and warping. You can see the missing return rollers laying on the ground beside it.

You see them lying right there, as well as one hanging. I think the hit was right there and they got blown off. That's about where I'd aim a heat round...where it's flat...
