    3.6 shells per second would equal nearly 13,000 shells an hour.
    I think you divided in the wrong direction when you got down to 60 seconds.

    Looks like the mouth of the cartridge still attached to the bullet and there don't appear to be any rifling marks on the base edge of the bullet. Driven through by wood block and hammer perhaps?
