Well, the lead up to this event has been pretty hectic if I do say so myself.
For the last couple of months the lads have been flat out water bombing and fighting Bushfires, only let up a week ago.

Now all that gear and aircraft will need maintainance and servicing, cutting in to the prep time for the Airshow next weekend, just a bit of pressure

All this week my days have been disrupted by the roar of one type of plane or another.........keep the bino's on the bench outside the workshop, but by the time you hear the faint rumble over my lathe or mill, make safe and dash out to have a look, it's just a full throttle roar and the plane disappearing behind the trees.

Monday it was a T6 tearing up the sky, Tuesday it was good to see the engine back in the Kittyhawk and doing a few test runs, Wednesday a bit of formation flying from a few Winjeels, Thursday Ross had the Hurricane up, Friday was a mix of Mustang, Spitfire and various others........good job I had today at the range, else nothing would get done.

So it's all go for next Sunday here in Scone.
