    Well, yes, that's the issue, waiting for the 'perfect' 4T to turn could be next week or another couple of years, or never......

    Looks a nice enough rifle from photos', and yes, not all matching, but, while they are about, how long before one of those turns up?
    I suppose it depends on whether you want a collectors item, or you want to actually shoot it as well?
    With a refurbished scope, and a still tightish original barrel, hopefully that one will be a nice shooter if that's your intention?

    Mine is almost all matching......everything matching except the barrel, so still not perfect, but, it too had a refurbished scope, and I wanted to shoot it, so the mint barrel and mint optics was a big factor in me biting the bullet on mine, despite it not being complete matching #'s.
    Like you say, times marching on and we are all only temporary custodians for these fabulous rifles.
